WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING DAY SERVICES WITH YOU?

We would love for you to book your wedding date with us as soon as possible. We are currently booking for the 2022 season. If you have a wedding with a later date, feel free to email us anyways! We'll get your date saved or instruct you then the best time to reach out to us for that booking date would be! Most brides book 6-10 months prior to their wedding,, we would say the earlier you book the more assurance you have that you're getting your #1 choice for makeup + hair services!

 

HOW DOES YOUR CONSULTATION PROCESS WORK & WHO DO I MEET AT THE CONSULTATION?

Glow Beauty Bridal doesn't require an in-person consultation, of course we love to meet with you ace to face and 'break the ice' before your trial run or day of application(s). However, If your schedule is really tight or if you live out of town/out of state, no worries! we can communicate with you via email and take care of everything necessary before your trial! The owner of Glow Beauty Bridal, Tara Biles, who is also the Lead MUA + Licensed Esthetician that you will be working with, is who you will be in contact with! She will send you a contract for review, pricing breakdowns, schedule your trial(s), online invoices, and answer any questions you may have. Even if you are unsure of your makeup or hair style, we will be like your new best friend and add you on social media or have you send us a nice selfie to get an idea of what we think we be your best bet! Once you book with us, we can chat about nailing down a trial run date that works for you and your calendar. Please allow 24 hours for a response. 

 

IS THERE A RETAINER REQUIRED?

Yes, there is a retainer. 50% of your total is due at the contract signing of your consultation. The retainer is NON-REFUNDABLE unless there is an unprecedented circumstance on the makeup/hair artist's part, making her unable to fulfill the services on the booked date. (i.e. Family Emergency.) If this occurs, Glow Beauty Bridal will do their best to find a replacement Makeup Artist/Hairstylist for your special day and refund your retainer. Please allow 7-14 days for the refund to be given or sent to you, depending on the circumstance. 

 

IS THE RETAINER AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE?

No. The retainer is taken from the total amount booked at the consultation. If any services are added after the consultation, a retainer amount will need to be discussed and arranged. If any services are removed after initial contract signing, the portion of that retainer is non-refundable however, the remaining 50% of that specific service will be deducted from your total ---as long as the removal meets the deadline for cancellations listed on the "Policies" page. 

 

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS?

As of right now, Glow Beauty Bridal allows CASH + Card Payments. You will be invoiced via square or you may pay your balance via Venmo and Tara will give you all of those options when you are ready to pay. Please note there will be a 3% card processing fee added to your total balance should you pay with card. We do not accept checks at this time.

 WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY TRIAL RUN? 

Typically, we would like to have the trial 2-3 months before your big day! This will allow you time to sit on your ideas prior to the trial because let's face it...Bride's like to change their minds once or twice. 

  

DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO I CAN COME TO FOR THE CONSULTATION, TRIAL RUN OR ON MY WEDDING DAY?

For your wedding day, we are on-location artists so we will always come to you. This gives you the opportunity to get ready in the comfort of your own venue space without the stress of commuting on such an important day. Consultations can be handled via email with Tara or if you'd rather meet in person, that can be arranged (we can meet at your favorite restaurant or coffee place). Trial runs are available to you at our suite in Griffin, GA. We have all the necessities + lighting that we need right there to create the look of your dreams! If you are an out of state Bride, we will need to privately discuss our options via email.

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU WORK ON IN ONE DAY?

We will accommodate up to 8 people for hair and makeup. 6-8 people needing BOTH makeup and hair styling will require an assistant and there will be a $150.00 assistant fee added to your total balance. This is to ensure that you and your bridal party services are finished in a timely + stress-free manner. 

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO DO EACH PERSON’S MAKEUP?

I like to block out 1 hour for the bride’s makeup + 45 minutes per person in the bridal party. This gives everyone a little wiggle room just in case because sometimes the wedding day timeline has to be altered.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO DO EACH PERSON’S HAIR?

 With Hair Styling, we like to allow 45 minutes depending upon the length of hair + style requested, she also has experience with all types of extensions. *descriptions of hair types and lengths of all receiving services are required in the emailing/booking process to get an accurate timeline for your special day! 

 

IF A FRIEND OR RELATIVE DECIDES AT THE LAST MINUTE TO GET THEIR MAKEUP DONE, CAN YOU DO THAT?

This may be a possibility depending on the timeline, it is not guaranteed. Which is why determining a definite amount of services at the contract signing is best. If the bridal party is already at 8 people, then no more services can be added. 

 

CAN YOU COVER MY TATTOO?

Yes! but this is an added cost and is something we definitely need to discuss during your consultation and note it on the contract. Specific products will be required that I’ll only bring along specifically for tattoo cover up. Please keep in mind that additional time will need to be allotted for tattoo covering, as well as pricing which will be discussed at the consultation.

 

DO YOU OFFER AIRBRUSH FOUNDATION?

We do! It's not recommended for every client. But, during your trial we will chat about your skin, skincare regimen and all the things necessary to see if it's a good fit for you! Tara has the Iwata Ninja Jet Pro Airbrush System, which is rated one of the best out there! We use Temptu Hydralock foundations for our airbrush clients! However, if you're interested in the traditional foundation route, don't worry! We have great options that not only accommodates every skin tone but gives a fabulous finish + beautiful coverage to the skin with zero picture flashback. We are very adamant about ensuring a flawless finish +  longevity of every client's makeup. Your makeup will look beautiful and will stay put for the duration of your wedding day.

 

 

IS GRATUITY EXPECTED FOR MAKEUP SERVICES?

Gratuity for makeup services is very much appreciated but never expected.
